Bernard J. Tyson is chairman and CEO of Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. and Hospitals — known as Kaiser Permanente. With annual operating revenue of nearly $80 billion, Kaiser Permanente serves 12.3 million members in eight states and the District of Columbia. Under Tyson’s leadership, Kaiser Permanente continues to lead and set the expectation for delivering affordable, accessible, high-quality health care and improving the health of its members and the 66 million residents in its communities. Time has named him as one the most influential people in the world, listed him to Health Care’s 50, and Modern Healthcare has named him as one of the most influential people in health care. Tyson serves on the board of directors of the American Heart Association and Salesforce. He is also Deputy Chairman of the Americas of the International Federation of Health Plans, and is a steward of the World Economic Forum.

Dr. Luis Jodar is Chief Medical & Scientific Affairs Officer at Pfizer Inc. heading Pfizer’s vaccines medical development, clinical and scientific affairs worldwide. Before joining industry, Dr. Jodar had different leadership positions in the public sector at the International Vaccines Institute in Seoul, the World Health Organization and the European Commission. He has worked in vaccine-related programs in over 50 countries, published in the most accredited peer-review journals and have been awarded the “Officer Cross of the Order of Civil Merit” from the King of Spain for his work on vaccines and vaccination in developing countries.
