  • First place cash prize of $100/person and second place cash prize of $50/person
  • DaVita will offer interviews to all winners

BEfore the conference:

  • Create a team of 3-4 students from any school and select a team leader. This team leader will fill out the interest form. Only one form needs to be filled out per team. Teams will be approved based on a first-come, first-served basis until the 3 team maximum is reached for a school.
  • Register your team ONLY AFTER IT HAS BEEN APPROVED. Once Carol Hu emails you with an approval, buy the "Case Competition Team" ticket on the Eventbrite page. This gives all team members access to the entire conference; they do not need to buy individual tickets. Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Tickets are $60 per team ($15/member for a team of 4). The price is the same for a 3-member team.

The case will be provided by DaVita and will be sent to the team leader by noon EST on November 2nd. Your team is required to develop a solution to the problem presented by DaVita. This solution will be presented as a paper of no more than three pages (single-spaced) and a slide deck. The written component is due to Carol Hu,, no later than 11:59 PM EST on November 8th. The slide deck is due to Carol no later than 11:59 PM EST on November 9th.

All correspondence (e.g., sharing of case, sending slide deck, notification of time slot) will be made between the team leader and Carol. It is the team leader's responsibility to share this information with his/her team.
